68 plate fiesta stline x question

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I hope someone can help. Does anybody know if the fiesta st line x with a 68 plate have hill start assist please?

Many thanks

Standard on the Mk 8 at launch, so yes.

I'd turn It off tho, seems to hinder getting good launches when you want to get away smartish, say, at a busy roundabout. Once off my car behaved much better.

It works fine for me, using it it to give you a few seconds to get your right foot off the brake and onto the gas when stopping momentarily on a hill. I've had no issues and I have been known to spin the wheels on smart getaways on greasy roundabouts.

Cars may vary, though.  I have experienced "getaway delay" when driving VW Group Cars with DSG autos - manuals I've never had a problem with.
