Mk3.5 cruise

Featured Replies

Hi . I've bought wheel from a 2016 ecoboost with cruise and plug on it .

Car is a 1.5tdci ,  registered  on june 2015 .  So prob build is 2014  (comes.up that on etis).

Do I need to get a udci  adaptor   for this to program it . Been reading g conflicting reports

I have just done this yesterday morning on my 2015 2.0 TDCI for a trip to London, it took a wheel swap and about 15 mins to use UCDS for me, I never looked at the other options due to them only fairly recently supporting certain cruise options - I just figured I know UCDS works so went for that option really.

@Tezza Has an awesome and very straightforward set of instructions to follow over on the enabling cruise topic here.

I actually took a screenshot of that post and have it saved to my phone for reference - it came in handy.. I hit a few small hiccups but it wasn't anything hard to work out, I'm now in London and will add to the guide if I can. Admittedly my UCDS was from anither online source and is a 'compatible' adapter, but I had zero issues with it. (- Not sure if I'm best off leaving the link to this for PMs only but I'm sure a Mod could let me know)

I have however used Forscan to turn off the blummin' fake engine sound from being pumped through the speakers! So much quieter now.. So I'm not against the other apps, I just know that UCDS just works without headache.
