@Zico heres the bulbs that arrived. They also just released a range of high resistance performance bulbs which my dad might get for his brake lights as the other performance brake lights he has throws a dash warning about the brake lights not working

Yes, the car needs to see the same resistance as a normal filament bulb.  Drawback is that you often won't see a warning if the bulb is gone as the resistance is still there.

Yeah on my dad's volvo he's getting a dash warning saying 'check brake lights' whenever he presses the brakes. He fitted the autobeam performance brake lights in which I don't think have any resistors in. Hopefully these new bulbs they released won't throw up that message

I learned a little about this on a YouTube video just yesterday, fancy new bulbs use less power so the car thinks the bulb is out.
Sarah fits a new resistor to her modified headlights (skip to 10:51 for bulb issue)

If you've got hids in dipped or main then a decent set will have resistors in the ballast or you can get inline ones.

Problem you sometimes get is if the car sees a failure it will isolate the circuit and you have to completely power off, lock the car and reopen before you can test again.

Turn the sound up on this.

Ah, I'd always wanted a Mustang that sounds like a washing machine on a spin cycle...  I really hope they pump some V8 noises inside so the driver doesn't have to listen to that racket!

I do like first of all getting a notification on Facebook that I've won a £300 tattoo voucher! And then getting this phonecall

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

I like having my Fiesta back! Feels so nippy compared to the Focus.

Yes, I've had all sorts of cars over the years but all things considered, have always liked small nippy ones if they can meet practical needs.

The Fiesta does seem to be getting pricey though - my first was just over £3k (including special paint and sunroof) - but that was 40 years ago.😃

But seriously, I was going through a few car configurations on the web the other night when there was nothing on tv. I was surprised to find the list price for a 5 door MINI Cooper S (190ps) with everything I would want, came out virtually the same as the current 155ps MHEV equivalent to my ST-L X. Of course, traditionally you could score a much bigger discount on a Ford, but that's not so much the case now, and their finance deals aren't always that hot either.

Food for thought - if only the MINI wasn't so ugly these days!

The Cooper S is surprisingly good value...  It's also the quickest car you can have on Motability!

What surprised me recently is that you can buy a brand new Mitsubishi ASX for less than the price of a brand new Fiesta...  Surely Ford have got their pricing wrong!?  I also don't see the Fiesta appealing to young females any more, the Fiat 500 is so much cheaper and looks far better!

I've been a Fiesta fan for years - we've had 5 - but the price is getting to be a problem, particularly for dinosaurs like me who end up paying for a lot of stuff we don't really want just to get the few bits we do. So the MINI which comes adequately (for me) equipped as standard starts to look attractive price wise, though it can, of course, get very pricey if you seriously hit the options list. Trouble with all cars nowadays is that a lot of the stuff I don't like is mandated by legislation anyway, so I just have to put up with those!

It's the looks that kill it for me.The current version is I think a more practical proposition than the previous two iterations, but I can't get on with the front. There is a facelift on the way though which, from spy shots, seems to have restored the more classic grille (losing the ugly black bar across it and reducing the "trout pout" effect) so I may revisit that when the time comes.

It's not just young females - my Mrs loves the look of them too!

Good to hear that. Your still young, can't see you being at that risk.

My dad I noticed has a slight bulge on the top of his stomach. Thinking it might be a hernia and see about getting it checked out

Looks like I hit the jackpot.

@Nick Y really happy they are giving 1 mil each month to players. Also got the GP1 from the casino wheel 😁. There's a new update coming soon so want to save extra for what new cars are coming

I got my $1m last week and I got the first month too.
I think the update which is coming in the next few weeks won't be a big one. The big one will be December time with more heists.
I'm comfortable with the amount of GTA$ I have at just over $200m (all legit).

Went on a 81 mile road trip yesterday to see a YouTuber to get his wheels. Got some bola B1s from him 😊. Need to get rack limitors as these are 17s then can fit them on. Only 2 years old. One wheel being kurbed all over but luckily on the lip but the rest are in good condition. Also wrapped in toyo proxys.

I do like that my name is getting sent to Mars aboard the rover Perseverance. Launch window is today until August 15th so hopefully it will be launched soon.
This will be the third time my name has been carried on a Mars rover.
