Focus bumper plastic problems

Featured Replies

Hi . I'm trying to fit the slam panel  bumper cover (top plastic bit) on to the bumper , I have the riginal  part but for the life of me I cant get it flush .where it lines up with bumper edge theres a gap

I've took off and retired,  I bought a pattern  part to see if that made any difference,  but nope

Is there a knack to this , I've tryed pressing down using a wrench but nothing .

It's a 2015

Tryed to upload pics but they all.failed

Can you try another upload? It would help get bearing on where I'm looking at exactly lol!

I've just had mine off a couple of times to 'stitch' it back together where someone prior to my ownership has clearly had a bit of a run in with something a little tougher than the brum's nose... I noticed that some of the holes/clips aren't actually used on the mounting bracket, took me a few mins to realize that it didn't all need to be fit together and that some gaps were by design. Possibly the same for yourself? Just speculating as I can't quite figure exactly what you have there at the moment!

Hi . I need to figure out how uploading isnt working keep.getting -200 error.

The the top slampanel cover that has the rubber strip across it , (u see when u open bonnet).

It's lining up with clips but not going right down. The left and right edges arent going into bumper .

The picture I put up is the right side just  (internal of bumper ) leg that is hitting of plastic but wont go any further . .

I will try get some other pics or reduce the size . The ones I have are 3.5 mb

I think I know which you mean, if correct mine are loose also- I'll try grab a pic or video.

For what it's worth, I noticed thay using a phone or tablet i can rarely do multiple uploads and have to add them one at a time, unsure if that's the issue you have or not.
