Focus ST-Line Warning

Featured Replies

Hi

A warning popped up on my dash, but by the time I glanced down to read it it had gone. This happened twice in the space of a hour.

It looked like a red steering wheel, but not 100% sure. Does anyone have any ideas?

PS This was a message/warning, not one of the small icons like Parking Brake, Tyre Pressure etc.

Thanks

If you have the Ford Pass app, open it up and there could be a message there. If it was frosty and the windscreen was not clear then it might have been to tell you that collision avoidance was not available, I had that warning this morning.

That makes sense. The windscreen was clear of frost, but there was a lot a dirty spray, which could of affected the camera.

Thanks for your reply

If it is the alert Tizers talking about you’ll have an alert on the app, probably advising you to clean the front grille . If you don’t have adaptive cruise control you won’t have a radar on your grille it’ll be window needs cleaned.

Its possible the alert was pre collision avoidance.  You can adjust sensitivity if not done already..that alert won’t go to your app.
