Hard wired dash cam

Featured Replies

Hi

any advice which fuse to use to hard wire dash cam on focus mk4?

need it to turn on with ignition

I piggybacked fuse 3 (10a)in passenger compartment . There are others but space is limited fof piggybacking. Beware its a micro2 fuse though. I got piggyback off Ebay

Thanks, seemed a bit technical so Halfords to the rescue!

If Halfords could do it without breaking anything, it's not that technical of a job.

i have just done mine so it turns on and off with the ignition, i used fuse f85 that is located in the passenger footwell.
i used one of the fuse piggy back kits off Amazon and it works great and is really easy to do.
the fuse is the 5th one from the bottom on the right ( drivers ) side of the fuse box.
saves you looking it up in the book.
