I have a new shape ford fiesta 1.5 diesel, done 32,000 miles, ss worked fine but now has stopped working? Is there any way of 're setting it?

The start stop wont turn on unless there's enough charge in the battery. If you're not doing enough miles on a journey then you wont be charging the battery enough to keep the stop start turned on.

Or at least that's usually the reason...

So many reasons why it won't work, battery charge is one, outside temp, aircon load, engine temp are others if one is outside the parameters it won't work.

Try this worked on my focus when I picked it up . Turn ignition on press fog light button 5 times then hazard warning light 3 times then your battery light should flash. Mine works every time after doing this

Is it switched on ?

It's on by default, you can only switch it off and it resets with the ignition

Tbh i wouldn't even bother with it. Its just an unnecessary wear on the Starter, Cylinder walls and turbo.

I switch mine off all the time. Wish it would stay off

It could be the battery or the battery monitoring module.   When I had S/S (I haven't got it on my auto) it sometimes would work with air con on and sometimes it wouldn't,
