Ford in dangerous territory?

A sibling is studying economics and thinks Ford is in a real bad place atm.

Looking at the share prices for the past 5 years reveals this.

Would be sad if Ford went bust, not sure what else I'd buy. For sure not an overpriced junk euro (BMW, Audi, Merc).

I'm not worried as if you look further back than 5 years it has been lower than it is now and recovered.

In the future though they will need to invest more in "alternative fuels" in order to keep up with the increasing demand for vehicles that are not petrol or diesel powered.

No point looking at its current performance. Markets are down the world over due to the virus.

I keep track of Standard Life shares and they look very similar to Ford's.
