I've had a few classic cars over the years. Just taken ownership of a Mk 3 Escort, which is in remarkable condition for a car from 1983. Car is a 4 door 1.3 L

I started driving in the 80s . I had a few mk3 escorts over the years. They were a huge advancement over mk2 escorts. I really liked them, but the sills did rot a bit and the electronic ignition modules were known to fail suddenly. Some are just coming mot exempt. Shame a lot were only 4 speed. Still have a mk3 bonnet in my shed and a mk3 windscreen in my greenhouse.
