Hi guys I recently purchased a 1.0 focus as a non runner , it turns over but will not fire also it has no fault codes , previous owner said it cut out then he managed to get it started again and drove home and ever since it hasn’t ran 

 

any ideas ??

Have you checked to make sure you have fuel, compression, air getting in and spark?

You could try spraying some starter fluid direct into the throttle body, if it fires up then fuel is the problem.

What diagnostic system was used to read the DTC codes? Many manufacturer/vehicle specific DTC codes will only be shown by a Ford specific diagnostic system. For example an ELM327 interface in combination with the Forscan software.

Being a 1.0 ECOboost you should start inspecting for mechanical engine failure as a result of possible overheating and inspect the wetbelt for excessive wear. If the engine developed mechanical failure or the wetbelt is excessively worn and jumped a tooth (or more) the engine will not start and often does not generate a DTC code.

Did you figure out what the issue was, I’m having the same problem?
