Arkhangelsk1989
Hello, I have a mk6 fiesta zetec s with the standard 16inch zetec s alloys and was wondering if the mondeo 300mm brake upgrade will fit easily under the 16inch alloys without any modification? Thank you

Thank you Hmmm.... Do want as well. New brakes are on my to do list. Might as well fit something better for roughly the same price, keep me updated if you find out. https://www.ebay.co.uk/c/1663251397

Frembrit
There seems to be plenty of info out there... I used Focus ST170 discs and calipers on my MK2 Mondeo when I had that (I've sold the setup a while ago). Just thought it was easier to keep disc and caliper from one vehicle rather than discs from a Focus and calipers/pads from a mk3 Mondeo. The 300mm setup fit behind the ST24 16" alloys (which are chunky), though I was using ST170 17" alloys most of the time. They made a difference to the Mondeo so they should be epic on a Fiesta 😀
isetta
Won’t it upset balance between front and rear?
Frembrit
I can't answer that but I've seen on other forums where people have fitted the ST170 rear discs/calipers too to their Fiesta. Certainly no problem on my Mondeo's.

Eatonm112
I have a Mk7 Fiesta with 16 inch wheels so I wanted to see if I could get Focus ST 170 disks with the Mondeo calipers and here is the result. https://photos.app.goo.gl/LPzsxtir9ChMqiVBA https://photos.app.goo.gl/xH4cLjC71jezLtHj9 Results are great much better than the Fiesta ST set up I had before. I have the standard Fiesta ST set up on the rear but plan to change the disks to the 280mm ones from a Focus ST170. Not sure about Mondeo 300mm brakes for fiesta but you can get 300mm st150 brake upgrade for all fiesta models and all that is needed is the widen the bore on the hubs to accommodate the larger bore on the st callipers. When we talk about upsetting the balance in brakes, what we are really talking about is the balance between front and rear. It's called brake bias, and with larger disc upgrades this does change, but in a good way. What I understand is that the front brakes do the most work and the only issue there may be is to upgrade the rear brakes more than the front so the bias is now shifted to the rear brakes instead of the front. You can technically keep the drum brakes at the rear and not change them, it is just preference on how you want it to look. 300mm disc kit from puma speed includes discs pads and larger calipers, bolts. I suppose it would be a very good upgrade but don't facing drilling the hubs or anything and the stopping power is decent at the moment. Let me know if you do it and how you get on with it. O fue plug and play, gracias
