Focus MK3RS trouble

Featured Replies

I am in trouble with an engine problem.
This is a symptom of the throttle pedal not responding.
Replacing both the throttle pedal and the throttle body does not improve the symptoms.
If you have experienced such symptoms, can you give me information?

Have you hooked up any for of diagnostics to the car? A bluetooth OBD scanner to your phone and 'Torque' or a usb one to a laptop with ForScan would be ideal to see any underlying codes, and if not they'd both be able to log data.

Laptop being the better of the two, but you could select to monitor all elements up the chain from the pedal to the engine to see where it breaks.

Throttle position sensor isn't an impossibility to be at fault if you haven't checked that out as of yet for one of the easier go-to checks.
