Hi,

finished a bad day at work by clipping a wall on the way home. It punctured the black plastic trim under doors. , thankfully not the metalwork or i would be divorced.

Can I buy a replacement from ford ? And is it a fortune  ?? Is it easily replaced by a novice ?

Obv need to wait till CV19 is over.

    Held on with a few screws underneath. Ideally you'd want to raise the car off the ground to get better access to those screws. Definitely a DIY job unless you're incapable of holding a screwdriver without stabbing yourself...

    The part numbers are:
    Drivers Side - 1747488
    Passenger Side - 1747490

    I'd guess at up to £80 from Ford. Fortunately you wont have to get it painted after as it's just an unpainted, plastic side skirt.

    You should be able a used one from a breakers on eBay for half that price though.
