Long shot, but does anyone know if theres anyway to get a digital clock on the Instrument Cluster on the MKIV - I hate having to look over at the damned Sync screen to see the time!

I think this would be a good idea, on occasion I do turn off the sync screen, but then miss having a clock.

Usually companies take the Homer Simpson approach of taking an existing product and putting a clock in it. Seems Fords gone the other way 😛

Why would you want 2 clocks ? and surely the Focus hasn't had a clock in the instrument binnacle for years since maybe the Mk2.

I have a Mk2, and can confirm, the clock is in the digital display of the centrally mounted radio LOL

Our Mk2.5 has the clock in both the radio and binnacle displays but I only ever look at the radio display to be honest. It's bigger and easier to see at a quick glance.

Our old Rover 75 had a proper analogue clock in the dash, the way cars should be . . . . . . .

My Dad's 2013 RCZ had an analogue clock. I think they are a really nice touch in some, even modern, cars.

The MK3 Mondeo's still had an analogue clock in the dash...

Leftover from the days when it was an optional extra included as part of Ghia trim!

Sadly my Dads never worked properly, kept losing time, so he stuck a cheap digital clock over the top of it!

My first car was a horrendously basic 1997 Peugeot 306...it had an analogue clock in the dash cluster instead of a rev counter! 😮

 

My first car, a 1975 Datsun 120Y (!) also had a proper dash mounted clock. I upgraded it by replacing it with a rev counter which the coupe version had, though to be fair, I also then put a smaller clock back in where the 'D' badge was. God I'm old LOL

 

 

One of the first cars I had a Riley 2.5 RMF had a clockwork dash clock. Those were the days ,you really were in control of everything 😀

My first car was an A plate Fiat Uno. Your Datsun looks luxurious compared to it. Is that MW and LW preset radio station buttons? Quality 

you don’t even need to look at your sync3 screen for the time.

Even better than that, the DIN shaped cubby molding above the radio unclipped easily by hand, and behind it is where I installed my then illegal CB radio! LOL
