Ford focus mk 2 1.6tdci rpm stuck

Featured Replies

Hi,

I got some issues with my ford mk2 1.6tdci and with all the problems with covid-19 i kinda have to try to fix myself in front of my house.

So, first problem i got was rpm was stuck at maxim 3000rpm, got a tester and i found the camshaft had low signal so i changed.

Now i have the same problem but i can’t get over 2000-2500 rpm and i found out if i disconnect de MAF is working. So i got a new MAF but the problem still persist.

With MAF connected i get this values on tester:

- at idle i got 9,27g/s

- at 2000 with pedal pressed in floor i get ~25g/s

and with MAF disconnected and car working i get:

- at idle ~11g/s

- at 2000rpm i get 35-40g/s.

Any body got an idea what should i check? I even checked voltage on MAF, but nothing wrong.

3 weeks ago car got a new turbo, egr and DPF cleaned (turbo got broke so i got new one, all done in a service).

Thanks, have a great night!
