I have a 2019 Ford Focus. What is involved in instaling a a 12volt socket in the boot?

    I fit them in vans for a living 

    you will need an ignition live either from the fuse box or I sometimes use the heater live .fuse it with a 20amp fuse 

    you can go for a permanent live if you require same method 

    you’ll probably have an earth connection in the boot mine I think has one either side most of the effort will be putting the wire behind the carpet .The wire ideally should be in conduit or taped up for extra protection
