Front tyres difference in tread usage HELP WORRIED

Featured Replies

I have a focus 2007 estate and I purchased 2 new front tyres about a year ago I have noticed that the front right has alot less tread than the front left what is the main reason for this ?

I always check pressure in the tyres and are equal so any ideas

Thank you Simon

The tracking is out, your left front is more in-line than your right, if the wear is on the outside of the tyre it's toeing in, if it's on the inside it's toeing out, you need to take it to a garage and have the wheels aligned properly, if the alignment is significantly out you will notice that the car may be pulling slightly to one side.

Could be also be a worn Bush allowing more movement than it should. But first as above.

Are both tyres same make .. I got a cheap tyre on mine and it wore quicker than the other side that was replaced month prior.

Now I have swapped both out at same time for better make .

Do you do alot of right turns perhaps exiting your house or area ?

Then the left tyre consistently travels further than the right 🤷‍♂️
