Multimedia system

Hi Guy's, more a question than a problem 🙂 Has anyone on here fitted a multimedia Player in there fiesta ???

Basically i fancy one, and the cheapest one's are made in china. What i need to know is WILL THEY FIT MY CAR ???

I have a double din 6000cd player in mine,, not the triple dash one. I have looked and i do need a fitting kit, but i have heard that a lot of the chinese players will not fit these kits 😞

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I done a bit of research on this too.

From what i found, Chinese head units are difficult to work with.

Either the sound quality is pretty poor or you'll get a panel to fit the car, but may not entirely fit your head unit. May need to cut it down and sand the edges.

Too much of a risk on both parts for me, so i opted for a Kenwood DMX-7017dabs

Thank's ZD86 for reply :) Yes i have been told that it's better to fit disigned to fit fiesta. You pay more,but much easier to install. Thinking about this one :)

I'm still having bother getting mine going, i bought adapters and things that don't fit my year. Back to the drawing board 🙈

Hi Guys, a couple of yrs down the line, thought I would update.

Purchased item, a simple "fitting Kit" and all went well.

If however you are thinking about one, mine is buggered after under 3yrs down the line.

Screen freezes, bluetooth won't connect, screen very temperamental.

Summary, after paying £188 I would expect it to last longer than 3 yrs.

You're choice :):):)
