2014 1.0 ecoboost - won’t start no clicking

Featured Replies

I have a 2014 1.0 ecoboost that will not start. All electrics come on as normal but there is no sound to engine.
We have connected a fault reader which is not finding any issues, battery and fuses checked, disconnected battery to force reset but still nothing. We are at a loss to what is causing the issue..

Any advise welcome

Is it stop start? I did a starter motor change for a friend on there 2013 focus econectic and this was the same problem. electrics worked but no activity from the starter motor. the car would start by bumping it.

If you can pull it and get someone to bench test it.

I agree. if battery is ok, i would check starter.

It’s a key start. Tried to start with jumper leads and bump start but still nothing

Not all fault codes are detectable by standard code readers, you need something specific to Ford like this :

Tried on of those too, still not finding any faults
