Ford Focus 2012 Hatchback Stalling Problem

Featured Replies

I own a Ford Focus 2012 Hatchback. About 6 months ago my car started an unusual behavior, it stalls anytime and from nowhere. At times the car stalls and refuse to respond while I am stepping on the gas but everything else remains on. Sometimes I switch it off and then on after a few minutes and it gets back to normal but at times it even refuses to switch on.

Before all this problems started my side mirrors had been replaced after being damaged, I understand the ambient temperature is attached in the side mirror but am not sure if this has anything to do with the problem

Anyone who had this problem before or might have some solution to this will be much apreciated

I am Ian

I won't be able to help Ian, but I'm sure it would help others if we knew if it was petrol or diesel and the engine size...

Its a petrol engine size 1500cc

It might be worth checking all the hoses and connections you can in case you've a loose wire/split hose, if you got an intermittent fault like that then a bump could knock things loose but I suggest getting an OBD reader and use Forscan or a tool that can do similar then that'll give you an inkling what's going on with the fault codes.
