Hi to anyone who can help me with some information please,

 i'm wanting to find out on my partners car if there meant to be an engine cover as it didn't have one when purchased she has a 2007 ford focus 1.6 zetec  automatic petrol as i cant find any at all online and getting fed up with looking

Hi Craig 

The 1.6 Volvo engine in the ford focus doesn't have a ford engine cover available although it really should have done; because the windscreen washer jets the seals around those between the bonnet and the jet

Leaks rain water on to the top of the engine; really affects the 1.6 petrol model focus from 2005-2011 because of its location under the Bonnet; that rain water gets in around the coils and rusts inside the engine.

A common problem and a common modification is to seal around the windscreen washer jets by applying silicone around them under the bonnet,

Also fitting a 1.6 volvo engine cover to the ford focus is another common solution; there's guides with links to the correct parts.
