Ford Focus MK2 1.6 Zetec Climate ABS

Featured Replies

Hello, im wondering if people can help me of a few problems,/modifications,
First of all my problem, i have got an ABS light on my dash and when getting it put on the computer in the garage it came up with a Missing Teeth error, im wondering if someone can point me in the right direction of finding the correct ABS/Tone ring or even a drive shaft with the Tone Ring already connected,...

My second question, im hoping to get a Cone air filter but as you can see in the image in going to need a pipe with a MAF connector on it, im wondring if anyone can also point me in the correct direction for that ?

Many Thanks
Jamie

The sensor is getting a weak signal. The part of the sensor that reads the magnetic ring is on the side of the sensor and not on its end. You might be able to loosen the sensor and move it inwards a bit. Or it might be rubbing against the magnetic  ring. Inspect the sensor and see if it has any signs of wear. If it has it might have damaged the magnetic ring. If it hasn't got any wear try moving it towards the ring to pickup a stronger signal.

Yes, that's a good idea. Take it for a short drive and see what happens.
