ford focus mk3 b6 gearbox

Featured Replies

so im doing some major surgery on the car, the gearbox is out got almost covered in gearbox oil once i removed the gearbox shaft. once my other parts are here and it goes back on the car i shall need to refil it. i noticed a sump plug looking thing on there although i shall be having a more detailed look in the morning. Is there 2 plugs on this gearbox one for draining and one for filling or is there just one for both?? also is the procedure the same where you fill it till it starts to drible out then remove .5l out of it when the whole lot has come out?

Yes, 2plugs on the b6. And your right about filling it until it dribbles out then draw out 500ml back out.
