F0CUE
No change to the dab at all. I will test it more though and I got it from Here @Mollymoodoo

There is always the Paintmodz one but it costs more just to be painted in your color if you already have the paint then it will work out cheaper, if not then the paintmodz one would be more cost effective.
Mollymoodoo
Cool thank you. They are out of stock but I've asked them to notify when back in.

It seems to have significantly improved the reception. I tested in poor areas the worst near the airport where it usually goes right off and it didn't budge and the other areas had the odd blip but not as long as normal 😁
F0CUE
Further to the TPMS the new valve that was replaced is still going down 1 bar a day and now the front one is going down about 3. I'm getting sick of blowing them up every day before I set off. I contacted Halfords and they said I would need to go to the dealer as the whole system needs replaced 🤔
F0CUE
Took the car back to the same tyre place and they replaced the valve again and found my front tyre had a nail in it and now they are all staying up thank god for that. £43 quid down but worth not getting the pump out every day.

Bleeding hell! Sounds like you’ve had fun and games with that! I remember when I used to work on an industrial estate and I’d be getting nails in my tyres at least once or twice a month. Was a nightmare! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

TPMS is a good idea when it works but a pain when it doesn't.

With having the Zetec s my thoughts were it's like a downgrade as the triangles are honeycomb. So my search to create my own came down to a pair of these Mercedes style L shaped drls. [ Pretty close apart from one bulb less plus black and silver so will look very close to OEM and you don't see much yellow or white like some. I taped around the triangles on car with electrical tape to save the paint and popped then off with a flat blunt butter knife as have no pry tools yet. Made a template of the drls to be bolted on and drilled the holes. Bolted the drls on with the supplied fittings. Then in the car I attached the drl controller black to minus, red to plus on the battery. This new drl controller requires you to add the blue wire to acc otherwise they don't come on so I tapped into ignition Live. Then I tapped the white wire to the side light wire yellow/blue. The outcome was not entirely perfect but it works and excuse the dirty car this wind is making lots of dust. So I wouldn't recommend the above drls as I'm in to month 8 now and 3 bulbs are dead on the passengers side and TBH it was not looking the best. So I forked out for these ones much better The drl controller that comes with them is pants so taking the plugs off it and I'm going to tap them to my one with these little shrink wrap butt connectors. If we get some break in weather will get this done with an oil change and some maintenance check overs.
F0CUE
Passed mot no problem never had this before new to me 😂 Done the above drls still need pictures looks awesome compared to the last mod. Still to do oil the weather is still 💩
jlawes20389
At least it passed the mot 🙂 I'm thinking of doing drls myself, where did you get yours from?
F0CUE
Here but they have went up in price they go up and down all the time 😂
F0CUE
Finally done an oil change today went without a glitch. Stupid place for an oil filter though you need child hands to get in there 😂 easier if you unplug the wires and unclip them and the oil filling part but still tight. Since I was out took a pic of the new drls much better IMHO. Also bought interior bulbs and reverse light bulbs and took the light units out to find somebody had already added led ones. Here is the interior lighting up its metal bright. Next job is the tackle the fried egg bulbs in the rear 😊
F0CUE
Snorkel delete done. Was well easier than the MK2.
F0CUE
Was going to dechrome the car and received my roll of vinyl tape and found it was too narrow to cover the chrome on the side. I thought 20mm would be enough I should of measured it. So you need approx 25mm for the width probs best 30mm to cover for the bends. So I found the front chrome was narrow enough just to cover that up so I done that today and I like it.
F0CUE
Dechromed today took a while 😃 also got gloss black fog covers too.
F0CUE
Calipers painted today. I got Halfords blue caliper paint looks very like focus rs colour. Removed all rust with a drill and brass brush attachment, sprayed down with brake cleaner and degreased with some good old elbow grease. Masked up slightly only tape I had 😂 Coat one. looked good but slightly patchy. Coat 2 looked shiny as hell and all done 😁 Rears on Todo list. Not the best pic but the finished product Will get better pics when I get the chance.

They are smoked so blend in nice with panther black and they were only £20 and fit perfect. Hi, just came across this post, could you tell me where you got these from and would they fit my mk 3.5 ST-Line? Thanks in advance
