Zetec S 2015 Wheel swop

Featured Replies

Hi I have just purchased a 2015 Zetec s and I want to put the 19inch ST wheels on. Will these fit? I currently have the upgraded appearance pack 2 wheels fitted

Hiya, I can confirm the 19" wheels from my ST do fit the Titanium, although I haven't had the opportunity to take it out to drive it yet to see about scrubbing.

I know my ST has a rack limiter when upgrading to the 19", however this on the mk2 and mk2.5 was the same but only precautionary - I fitted 18" to the mk2.5 Focus and despite Ford recommending the limiter, it was not needed, and the same was true for fitting larger wheels to a 2015 Fiesta.

The chat I had with my local friendly Ford about it all was that they were put in place with larger wheels for a couple of reasons, the main is that under extreme circumstances, hooking into a corner at full lock and hitting a bump to bottom out the shocks MAY cause the trye to catch the arch when travelling at speed in testing, and of course they needed to cover their backs there for warranty claims and such.

Can you confirm your tyre size currently? I'll compare against these, it might be so similar it won't be a problem, as per my experiences so far. If you're only thinking about it for now I'm happy to report back when I have the Titanium back to give a proper road test on but I can't say for sure how long that will be.
