hi im new to this . my car a 1.8 petrol ford focus 2005 is overheating when in traffic and fans not kicking in also ac not working could this be connected to temp sensor and where would it be found plz help

    i don't know the real answer. But on a previous car where I had same problem with fan not cutting in, I rewired power to the fan and fitted a switch on dashboard and if temp guage was getting high, i switched on the fan until temp guage came back down.  Not ideal but if you are desperate then you could try it. make sure you use cable and switch which are up to the job (current handling) and a suitable fuse also.
