Has anyone used one of these blanking kits?

Featured Replies

Hi i have 2008 1.6tdci focus and my pipe from the egr cooler to the inlet manifold is cracked causing air to leak out when booting. My egr is already blanked off and was thinking of using the kit in the pictures to remove the pipe from egr cooler to the inlet manifold and blank the hole with the part in the picture. Would this work? And not throw up any engine management lights up? Ive never had a light come on for the blanked egr btw. Also ill leave the egr cooler in place and just remove the cracked pipe. Thanks in advance 👍.

Anyone? Or if removing the egr extension pipe and blanking would be ok to then leave the cooler in place?
