On a zetec climate 06 does the cigarette socket stay live or not when the ignition is turned off and car is locked.. ???????

My 2005 stays live permanently, which is OK if you want to stick a trickle solar charge in the car, but useless for anything else. Hence the addition of a proper socket powered by the ignition switch!
