Mk2 catalytic converter swap

Hello all, first post here. 

I have a 2005 1.6ti focus, twin cats below manifold witch are now dead and the inside of 1 of them have clogged up my back box. Finding it hard to source a twin cat with current budget restraints but i however have a catalytic converter of a 1.8 petrol with a single cat, would it be possible that the car would run ok using a single cat etc? 

Car is misfiring like crazy loss of power under acceleration etc, sparks, leads and coil pack are all good have them all replaced yesterday

 

I know the twin cats have 2 o2 sensors and 2 lamba senors and the 1.8 single cat only has one of each.
