Looks like an anti-roll bar or sway bar. Also known as a stabilizer link.

thank you very much wasnt sure the name of it. not my car my daughters .

Also known as a drop link... :smile:

 

If you want an interesting fact about drop links, here's one. The flexible joints at each end are called Rose Joints, and are actually a WW2 German invention used on the control rods of their aircraft. As part of the reparations after the war, a British company called Rose Bearings got the rights to the invention. (in the US another company got the rights for over there) If you wiki Rose Joint (or rod end bearing) it makes for quite an interesting read...
