john.cope
Hi This is a tricky one, you can go to the local garages that are old enough to know this type of car, BUT, there are are loads of dodgy garages around. I have a 1972 Volvo P1800, and when I first got it 20 yrs ago I made the mistake of which I have highlighted. The only way is what I am doing now is taking it to to a person that actually knows what they are doing and that means going to a person that deals with this car brand proffessionaly. It does cost you money though, but it is better than losing money on a cowboy. In case you do not know what a Volvo P1800 is, I have put a pic of it, it used to be called The Saint's car from the famous series starring Roger Moore, who has sadly died a few year ago.
