Can anyone tell me what version of Sync 3 the Galaxy will upgrade to, currently running 2.0. Also, can anyone confirm whether the Wi-Fi update feature works? We don't do many long journeys and trying to plan to get map updates completed could take a long time fi we have to complete using USB. Many thanks. Comares2001 Posted June 10, 2020 Share Posted June 10, 2020 Assuming you mean you have version 3.2 you may get offered update to 3.3 depending on VIN. Have you entered you VIN into Ford update website to find out.Sync version update only takes around 25 mins via USB. WIFI updates are supposed to work now but are notoriously unreliable and can take even longer to complete than via USB .
