Mk3 Caliper upgrade

Featured Replies

Looking to swap out my focus mk3 estate 2.0 tdci front calipers for the st250's, can someone advise me if they will fit? Tried calling ford and they said ask you guys.

The Focus MK3 ST front brake calipers only fit when combined with the bigger ST brake discs and caliper brackets and brake hoses. Depending on production date and country/market the MK3/MK3.5 ST has 320 mm or 335 mm front brakes. The MK3 ST front brakes are plug and play on every Focus MK3. After installation of different size brakes the configuration of the car needs to be changed to adapt the brake bias to the different size brakes (brake bias is fully electronically controlled).

As an alternative for the original 320 mm Focus ST front brakes you can also install Kuga MK2/MK2.5 4x4 front brakes. The exact same 320 mm front brakes and brackets that were used on the Focus ST were also used on the Kuga 4x4. Used Kuga 4x4 calipers and brackets are usually less rare and considerably cheaper than used Focus MK3 ST calipers and brackets.
