Immo problem Focus 2004

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, i have a problem with starting the car.

I was going to remove the ECU and disconnected the alarm module, however before removing the ECU i had to move the car, so i started it and drove 5 meters before it died (this is with ECU in but alarm module disconnected).

So i reconnected the alarm module but still no luck, the car cranks and starts but dies after 1 second.

I connected the computer, and it say the

* immo is enabled

* Car key is not inserted (i have tried both keys)

Also The red immo light is turning on and goes off, no flashing.

I have tried to have the key inserted in 10 min, but no luck.

What is wrong?

Car is ford focus 1.6 manual - 2004
