Ford Edge 2 shark fin antenna for Ford Focus

Featured Replies

Ok, so I've done the sync 3 upgrade, all gone well and wanted to replace the hideous focus antenna for a shark fin. I'm also getting the nav fault warning from the cheap Amazon antenna with the sync upgrade as it fails to get signal immediately, so ive ordered a USA ford edge 2 antenna.

This says it has a built in gps.

Now I can see the double barrell connector that our UK focus has for the radio but rather than a fakra gps connector there is a black 3 pin connector, looks like power rather than a gps, but maybe someone knows. If it's gps can it be converted to fakra and if so which pin is which?

Also on the base there is some sort of metal connector by the looks (pictured), I assume this is an earth.

Does this antenna actually fit the focus?

Thanks
