Park assist issue

Featured Replies

I've got the park assist on my 2015 titanium focus. I've only had the car a few months and in that time the park assist has worked well.

The past few days however, its detected spaces that arent big enough to park in, and not just by a small margin.

Is this a know issue or could there a problem with the sensors? If so, is there a way for me to reset them or is that a garage job?

Weird thing to check, but have a look at your battery. Check its voltage to make sure it's 12.6v. I bought a 2012 titanium Focus on Monday and had big issues with the BLIS system and parking sensors... turned out it was the battery. Was extremely flat! I also needed a diagnostic machine (not a simple OBD2 phone app) to read the modules and clear the codes.

Relatively new to modern Fords so that's as much as I could say!
