Adaptive cruise control not working

I have a 2016 s-max with adaptive cruise control, I stopped the other day at McDonald’s and when I restarted the car the radar/car indication in the Speedo display wasn’t there and cruise control no longer works. There are no faults showing or coming up on the display. When you go into the cruise control menu it’s just greyed out and can’t select anything.
Any ideas what this could be?

Check for damage on the lower grill section of the front bumper. The radar sits behind the filled in section. Also make sure the camera area of the screen is clear.

Long shot but Fuse 23 in the Fuse box in the engine bay powers

  • Run-start.   Blind spot information system.   Rear view camera.   Adaptive cruise control.   Heads-up display.   Voltage stability module.

Is the rear camera still working? If not it may be the fuse.

I’ve check the fuses that relate to the cruise control all are ok and all other systems work fine.

No damage and camera clear.  I’ve had error messages before when radar or camera obstructed but there’s no fault messages or lights of any sort.

Hi, any update on what caused this issue, same thing has just happened to my S-Max and they’re looking at replacing the adaptive cruise control module, which is mental money.
