Air con drain tube location 2010 mk2.5

Featured Replies

Hi all, I’m going to change the pollen filter on my 2010 focus. It has suffered in the past of a wet carpet in the front passenger side but this hasn’t happened recently. The air con doesn’t smell great and I’ve not changed the filter in the two years I’ve had it so I’ve got one on the way.

i originally thought that the wet carpet could be a seal leaking letting rain water in but now I’m wondering if it’s a case of a blocked air con drain??

Whilst I’m changing the filter can I locate the drain tube at the same time and clear any blockage that might be there? There’s no mention of a drain tube in the manual so I’m not sure where to find it

could a blocked drain tube be the cause of the wet carpet and if so is there an easy way to clear a potential blockage

thanks
