Victor1981
My Ford ranger T6 2.2 duratorq was serviced changed oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. Vehicle was test driven same day and performed well and then just stalled and engine stopped running on the second day. Vehicle cranks but won't start. There's fuel from the pump through common rail but there's no fuel being injected into the cylinders. The pressure from injector pump is ok also. Tested and changed crankshaft position sensor, common rail sensor and even had injectors tried on another vehicle and they worked but still on my car there's no injection. Upon autoboss diagnosis I got DTC which translates to DC/DC converter fault circuit low. Where's can I get this DC/DC converter checked or how do I sort it out. Kevin#95
The dc/dc convertor low is something that might not be linked to the starting problem. It just might be the nee fuel filter is bad and restricting the flow, or there might be some air stuck in the line. Can you put the old filter back on to test it?
