2106 Titanium Subwoofer issue

Featured Replies

Hello all!

Recently purchased a used ‘16 Focus Titanium. The subwoofer in the trunk looked perfect but now to my untrained ear it doesn’t appear to make much “woof.” It moves slightly but little bass. I’ve adjusted the settings to where everything is where it should be. Any ideas? THANKS!

If it's the 10 speaker Sony system, then yes, the subwoofer on top of the spare wheel appears to do very little.

I thought mine wasn't plugged in.

However, I discovered that it has an effect at higher volumes, say volume 15+.

Also, it is more noticeable if you sit in the back.

Turn the volume up, open the boot, and put your hand above the carpet above the speaker.

You will feel the bass (a little).
