Changing Reverse Lens

Featured Replies

My reverse lens on my MK2 has a crack in it. Actually more of a hole in it [emoji23] are they easy enough to replace and any tips on replacing are welcome? Thanks

Theres a moulded plastic clip on the light casing holding them in.  You can just reach up underneath and push them out of the bumper.  Takes a bit of fiddling first time but easy when you know.

Perfect thanks Tom I'm going to go out now and do it. On the other side I've to change the rear fog light. I assume it's just reaching under again and taking the lighting assembly out?

That takes seconds to do.

The bulb holder twists out easily, a quarter turn clockwise as you look at the front of the lens.

Thanks Stoney. I'm gonna try it now I've never done one before so wish me luck [emoji23]

They are simple to take out. You will find you want to clean under there.
