My mum has a Ford Eco Sport 2019. She’s been told by the garage that every time she replaces a tyre the tyre pressure valve needs to be replaced at £10 each time. Surely that’s not the case?

 

Ive asked my usual garage and they say it’s nonsense and they never disturb the sensor. Which is true?

    The valves don’t need replaced every time if the person changing the tyre is competent. 
     

    The first garage are either trying to increase their revenue, or they know their tyre fitter is rubbish and constantly makes a mess of valves.
