Change spark plugs without a torque wrench

hi

I need to change a couple.of spark plugs can I do this with out a torque wrench and just tighten them up by hand

Yes, as long as you don't over do it.  In the olden days we used to do hand tight (no ratchet handle), then an extra quarter turn.

So i changed all the plugs I've changed the coil pack and still the same jumping between 800 and 1000 and settling around 800 should i try new leads

Sounds more like a throttle body fault but leads are cheap enough if you want to try those first.
