SCHINTON56
Hello all Can someone help had to call the AA out last night having continued to lose power in my focus. After pulling over could not start the car again so called the AA after a diagnostic test it came up no errors but wouldn't turn over all electrics etc still ok.He however could not locate the fuel pump fuse so I eventually got towed home and having checked the net still cannot locate the fuse Excuse my Ignorance but does my model have a fuse?My neighbour who knows a little about cars is certain it's a fuel pump problem My next question is anyone any Idea of average cost of a new fuel pump? Ned_Mk2_1.8tdci
What's the engine under the bonnet? This would help us help you. Could be that car just run out of fuel?!

I Think the AA guy would have noticed that, unless the OP called Alcoholic Anonymous by mistake

SCHINTON56
It's a petrol engine 60 reg mk2 and yes the AA Patrolman could not find the fuel fuse and in the end towed me home leaving me to sort it out. I have since found a mechanic to fix it
