Scott87 Posted August 29, 2020 Share Posted August 29, 2020 Hi, Trying to fit an android HU in our Ford and finished running the cable to the boot for the reverse camera input. It's a wired camera and I need to solder the power to the reverse light but not 100% sure which of the 4 cables I need to strip to run the power from. Haven't got a multimeter to test so could someone help me out? Also wondering how to run the cable through the rubber tube between the boot lid and car as its impossibly tight, any tips? Jonro2009 Posted August 30, 2020 Share Posted August 30, 2020 You can wire it directly to a switched live fuse using a piggyback. I don't know the wiring on the rear lights so to do that with you I'd need you to have a multimeter.
