ecoman
I'm the position where I'm going to replace the wishbones (ball joints need changing but thought it'd be less painful to replace wishbones altogether). I don't have a ball joint seperater and am wondering if I'd need one if replacing the wishbones (I assume I'd just be able to dislodge the ball joints with a hammer blow if required)? Any quick replies are most welcome. Thanks.
Tizer
You shouldn't need a Ball Joint Separator for these cars. The last time I did one I was surprised how easy it came apart with just a hefty Tyre Lever. Failing that then a few blows with a hammer should work ok.
