ford focus 1.6 zetec climate

my ford focus battery went flat and now when i try to jump car i get engine system fault and error code with flashing lights of 1:6 . the car doesnt crank or attempt to start . any idea what 1:6 of flashing lights mean

It's a communication error in the immobiliser circuit.

Try disconnecting the battery, charging overnight and see how it goes when refitted.

the battery has no power as it goes flat normally 30 seconds after the boost . if it flat would disconnecting the battery help . i basically didnt drive it for 4 months as was working from home so it been flat for a long time

I reckon the options are try a conditioning charger or source a new battery.
It may have pulled down too far to hold a charge now.

thank you i will get a new battery installed as it would lose charge before . was hard trying to find out what the error message meant online . thanks for quick repsonce

i did have the car battery attached to another car today for a long time providing power and it still wouldnt crank and still reported same error . even with a constant supply from another car could the battery still be faulty ? . sorry for all the queestions thought i should ask

swapped the battery with a new one  and the problem persists i still get the same issue . have tried my main key and my spare same thing engine system fault and the 1:6 flashing lights . any ideas what i can do next
