Center wheel cap sticker query...

I'm going to refurb a set of Ford wheel trims, (Stop laughing in the back, we all can;t afford a fancy set of alloys!)

Just going to spray a few coats of gloss black, but I'm looking for a set of center stickers, preferably '3D' gel with Ford logo in black. The size is 78mm and I can't find a listing on eBay. To be honest, I'd settle even for a set of plain  'carbon fiber' ones, but that size doesn't seem common. Anyone a suggestion of a supplier? Bearing in mind, I'm cheap! LOL

Already emailed, they did my front Ford grill logo, but get the feeling that if they even do them, I'd be cheaper buying a new set of wheel trims LOL

I bought a set of genuine used alloys to sell my MK2 on for £50...  Being tight/poor is no reason to stick with plastic trims!

But Tom, I've grown to love plastic wheel trims! LOL When I had a set of £1400 Oz Superturismo 18" on my last car, I was forever getting them refurbed, (I'm not the best at staying away from kerbs), topping them up weekly as they were made of a sponge like material, fitting regular 'alloygators' to protect them, spending an age cleaning them etc etc.

Steel wheels don't leak, I have a TPMS system and I haven't needed to touch them in months, if I damage one really badly, I have some spare in my shed which I got in Europarts sale for £10, yep, that's for all 4. It's absolute stress free, and awfully cheap motoring - I'm a big fan!  🤣

Ah, that's the trouble with cheap aftermarket parts!

I haven't had to top up my OE alloys up since October...October last year!

Dad asked me to check his tyres a couple of weeks ago, so thought it was about time I checked mine again as well, all still at 30psi.

I am super careful around kerbs though lol, the Golf rims were refurbed just before I bought it mid 2018, first car I've ever had with pristine alloys so I've made sure not to scrape them!

Each to thier own though, can't beat a bargain at the end of the day!

Hi Ian, I just got my new wheel trims back from the body shop today. I have a contact there who gave me a heads up that they had a set of alloys in for refurb and were doing them gloss black, they added my trims to the job so they got properly sprayed in lovely shiny gloss black, and then oven baked! (just like Brexit LOL)

I couldn't be more pleased, thank you again for reaching out to me!
