Bulbs

I couldn't see this elsewhere in one definitive post, so apologies in advance if this has been covered.

It would be a massive help (to me and I'm sure others) if someone would be kind enough to do a list of bulbs that can be used to upgrade externally and internally.

I'm new to the Fiesta (haven't even got mine yet) and I'm keen to change lighting etc. based on feedback you guys have posted on here, but I've not a clue where to start!

errrm lights... all inside are pretty much 501 wedge LED's from memory... if you have the reading lights on the centre light they are w6w or w5w which ever are the smaller fit ones...

fogs are h11 dipped beam h7 and full beam h1... think thats all correct sorry if i wrong anywhere!

and if you want too really throw the boat out, can put the led strip's in like i have!! on the headlights and am currently trying too sort out some rear footwell lights but just waiting for a delivery

As I said, I haven't got my car yet so was wanting to crack on an purchase upgraded bulbs.

Having been on other car forums (and running one myself) I just thought you might think it was a useful 'directory' to have for people to know what bulbs can be used to upgrade things like headlights etc. to prevent questions being asked like this in the future.

You obviously all have experience of what to use, where, and especially where headlight bulbs are concerned there is a variety available. I merely thought it would be 'good to share' in one central post.. but maybe not?

Also, some bulb specialist websites will allow the user to select their car, and all bulb fitments will appear on an image of a car to show which lights use which bulbs (well, it's certainly what I recall from experience!).

Most people are concerned with headlights, but of course Vix - as titanium says - most of the more obscure interior bulbs should be detailed in the manual (but I do usually find myself checking on bulb websites rather than going to my car for the book!).

I know exactly what you're saying :)

There are threads however, that go into a lot of detail about the ambient lighting for the Fiesta elsewhere on this forum - I recall seeing someone adding in some interesting looking LEDs somewhere - forgive my vagueness!
