addeeeeyyyyy
Hello everyone, I am looking to buy a car and noticed a 1998 Ford Mondeo 2.0 i 16v Ghia 4dr for sale near my parents house. It is the first car I will have ever purchased, and I thought I would ask you experts if there is anything I should look out for. It only has 44,000 miles on the clock and I really like the look of the older cars, with it's wooden panel interiors :) I'm grateful for your time and help.
nicam49
Can you do your own repairs? Find it's reg and go on the dvla website and look at its mot history for details of passes and fails and advisories. Take note also of the recorded mileages to check its genuine. Sounds like maybe owned by (now) elderlies? If it was garaged all its life then could be a nice buy, would help if you can do your own maintenance. If you do buy it, then get yourself a Haynes workshop manual for the mk2. Also, join the talkford.com forum as they have a mondeo mk1/2 section Bookmark this mk2 mondeo fordwiki section and have a look through it sometime https://www.fordwiki.co.uk/index.php/Category:Mondeo_Mk2
